Or hold the guide button for 2 seconds so you keep regular guide facilities.

Transfer Live subscription from one account to the other, even for a very small fee, got 2 subscriptions, 1 month free and 1 with 6months left, going to have to use someone elses gamertag for 6months, no points for me :*(

You can spend 800 Microsoft points to change the 6 month gamertag to something you want to use (unless you've already taken that up with the 1 month trial).

Change their tag to what you want (800 points IIRC) and then use that for ever.

Doh didn't read down the tread before I posted :D.

A full Media Centre experience, one that gives you the full features of Media Centre and full codec support.

Buts thats never going to happen, so I give up. I'll just build a PC to do the job instead.

Movie streaming via the Xbox 360

Already built up a collection of digital movies?Frustrated by the Xbox 360’s inability to cope with non-Microsoft-standard file types?

Now you can stream all your movies including those in DivX, MPEG, Xvid and WMV formats, in real-time to your TV via the Xbox 360 (connected to a Windows Media Centre PC). Xploder for Xbox 360 also allows you to play content in High Definition (dependent on individual system configuration and source

multi person chat (currently you can only chat to one person at time AFAIK)

I would love multi person chat, maybe up to 4 people would do me but i wouldnt complain if we got more :)

Is there any reason MS aren't doing this? Cost/bandwidth or is it just lazyness?

Same Idea as all the free versions out there, like Transcode 360.

But streaming is just a work around, it should have come with full compatibility out of the box. I know why they didn't do it (legal reasons etc), but just wish they did.

For example, being able to play a DVD image with full menus and options over your network. Or just a simple Divx movie without the need to re-encode.
