What version of Android are you currently on?

11. Its better than 10 but I think its more resource hungry than its predecessor, as in battery drain.

Android 9 (and no further security updates).

However my phone (Nokia 8) still does everything I want, and can't see the point of forking out £300 or so to replace it

That was my last phone. Dad has it now. He said at the time (18 months ago) he wanted a new(er) phone, so I bought a Realme 6 & gave him that one. Being 83 he's not the most tech savvy, I end up having to sort out things that he wants to do wit the phone. If it packs up he'll get the Realme.

Android 12

Xiaomi Mi 11 CN version flashed with xiaomi.eu ROM one of the perks of xiaomi.eu ROM it is based off CN version which gets the updates first but debloated and stripped of the Chinese stuff

11 on my OnePlus 7pro, which is supposedly getting 12 sometime in the summer. Will be it's last update though, so will need to think about a new phone soon.
