Hi all i want to ask a quick question. what is the best windows 7 to buy for gaming i was told ultimate is but i want some advice before i buy it. i dont want windows 8 cus iv heard nothing but problams thanks to any replys you give me sorry about the spelling at the moment i have windows 7 home preium

Home Premium is fine.

i was told ultimate

presumably by someone who pirated it. no one in their right mind would buy ultimate. as mentioned above, home premium is plenty good enough.

Windows 8 is absolutely fine for gaming. If you're buying a new licence you may as well go for 8

Home Premium is fine

Running Windows 8.1 on my system without issues.

If anything, ultimate will be ever so slightly slower than home premium.
