There was a famous quote, possibly a line from a movie, that sounds familiar to everyone. Yet, it was never actually said. Does anyone remember what it was?

I know I'm not leaving much detail, but it will click with someone here. It was a popular discussion not too far back. But I can't even do a search for it because I don't know what it was. :(


edit: For those just joining, the line has been found. It is:

"It doesn't DO anything. That's the beauty of it!"

So, the thread remains open to discuss this line. :)

Grrr. Wish I could remember even a part of it.

edit: Nope, mctiny. Not it either. It's not a misquote at all. Just a line that was never actually spoken, yet it sounds so familiar for some reason.

The quote has been around LONG before the film. The film adopted it because of that very reason.

The line itself is kind of the way it works - "It isn't FROM anything. That's the beauty of it."

Yet it sounds so familiar.
 
Damn, this is annoying me now. I've heard it in a film before, but can't remember which one! :mad:

It's not from Hitchhikers from the galaxy, because I've never seen that.
