Just a simple question about what people actually use all this processing power for nowadays.

My own answer would be windows movie maker, apart from that probably winrar

Prime 95.

I've had 3dsmax running flat out rendering on all 4 cores a few times today, but none of the individual renders took longer than a minute.

Supreme Commander usually eats the first core, but doesnt do much on the second. er . . I was playing HL2:Ep2 and it was eating my RAM - my G15 reckoned it was using 72% of my system ram . . . . (Thats including vista).

Folding@Home - 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. 100% CPU utilization across all 14 cores.

Im amazed at the last two, I will have to have a look. Lots of AI bots maybe?

edit:
not freely available it seems
