Besides, I think that the thread starter really meant to say 'Games machine', as he/she has not specifically said that we can't include speccys et al. Plus, it's boring if we restrict choice to consoles only, because we just get 'SNES', 'Mega Drive', 'Master System', 'NES', repeated in random order.

that's got nothing on the original atari 800 i got in the cupboard. Its go a whole 7 years on your speccy +2

No, that's not a console!

I've broken the trend by being the first to mention owning a Vectrex. I win.

But if we're talking home computers that +2 is rather modern compared to a zx81, Spectrum 48k, Atari 800 etc etc

I also owned an MSX! Beat that :p

Computer, well it was the legendary C64 (totally owned the speccy ), console it was the megadrive with sonic.

Well we had some dodgy old Grandstand machine that only played pong when I was a kid, first proper console for me would be the NES which I got in about 87/88 I think.

Would have to be my dads Colico Vision with the Atari games adapter, I can't remember how many hours i used to play Time Pilot and Donkey Kong Jr

1st console i ever got was the same as Fusion, the ol' ZX Spectrum+2 with the built in tape deck.

Think the 1st console i ever bought was a Dreamcast, still has a fond place in my heart

acorn electron was my first comp/games machine loved snapper and chucky egg on it my uncle was an elite nut.

Acorn Electron. I also loved Snapper, I used to think Pacman was a copy of it LOL. Also Repton and Hopper were cool as well. My first dedicated console was a Master System with Alex Kidd and Secret Command.
