I think it was a Radeon X800 XL AGP

Weirdly the release date kept getting pushed back so eventually got the order switched to a nVidia 6800 GT, that was December 2004 ish

EDIT looks about right going by my join date, bloody hell ten years here soon :o

My first purchase was this lot...

I swapped the MSI board for the good old Abit NF7-S 2 weeks after.
Them Prices :eek::eek: :D
I still use the Icemat to this day :)

I think I was the other guy who had one, except mine was a Slot A Athlon 500@750 with a ugly Juno P6 (still in my loft). Were you on OCUK IRC back then as Jay or something?

I've always been on here as Werewolf (or Werewolf_testing if I needed to check something with a normal account) :)

I think there were about four or five people with them, not bad cases for the money at the time (I used to second PSU bay to hold a light controller I'd made), but aye quite ugly.
Not helped when I fitted a load of chasing LED's to the rivet's on the side panels, and a pair of CCFL's behind the front panel.

[edit]
Found a picture of the front of it (I can't find one of the sides)

Seems to be a QX6700, but I remember buying parts from here before, maybe you could buy as a guest without an account? Another thing would be what's the oldest item you still use? Still got a death adder mouse from March 2008! :O

Hm, no idea actually. Guess it would have been something like a Duron 650. Think that was in the first pc I built, though I could be wrong. Last thing I remember ordering was an ATI 9800, which gives some idea of when I stopped caring about building computers :p

Mine was an Epox nvidia motherboard with the nforce chipset,
I read all the reviews was so excited thinking more fps games gonna be smooth have an advantage over others online!! online gaming :) ... nforce2 was it called?
It was the year 2002 and its 3 days before christmas I ordered expecting delivery next year and overclockers delivered it next day..... I couldn't believe it back then

Same product for me. Epox nForce2 motherboard with an XP2500 I think. It was a great board.
