What are your requirements and budget?
Personally I'd get a cheap VPS - you're looking at about £3-5 per month for 20GB storage, 512mb RAM and anything up to 1TB of bandwidth. Stick a basic centos or debian server on there with Virtualmin and you can host quite a lot of simple/low bandwidth websites, or just a few of more demanding ones.
You can get a cheap web host for £2-3 per month, but you're usually given arbitrary limits like 5 SQL databases, 2 domains etc... things which they have no need to limit but artificially do for marketing purposes.
That TSOHost, for example, charges £3/month for 2.5GB space, 20GB bandwidth and a maximum of 4 websites, or £15/year for 500mb space, 5GB bandwidth and 2 websites. With your own £3 VPS, however, you can get 20GB space, 1TB bandwidth and as many websites as your bandwidth can handle.
This is nothing against TSOHost (they may be very good, I've never heard of or used them) - but just an example of how you can get a lot more for the same money and a few hours setting things up.
It's a little more work, but you can do a lot more with it. Mine acts as a VPN so I can watch iPlayer while abroad, for a start.
