'Don't go against the system' blah blah blah.

So, discussion I was having with someone about what the system is.

You have the so called established, but people come and go, but 'The System' still remains.

So what does the system mean to you, or what is a good explanation of what it means/stands for, and where it's authority come from?

The System is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.

You beat me to it! :p

I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
The system is all around me
And so the feeling grows
It's written on the wind
It's everywhere I go, oh yes it is
There's no beginning
There'll be no end
The system is all around me
And that is how it is...

Donations for the production of my next album gratefully accepted. :p

The sort of people who describe the general way of things as 'the system' are real life versions of guys like this:

I don't think I have ever heard that expression other than in TV programmes or films. I think only morons/paranoid people would actually say it.

What an idiotic post

system

a set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network; a complex whole.
"the state railway system"

Is that NOT what we live in??

There isn't a system, unless your a CT nut. It's just a generic term for authority, so you don't have to explain in detail. Where ever that authority is seen.

The 'system' is the control of the populations liberties.

Some agree with it, some don't. Hence why ours is a democracy.
