What Wireless router?

Thinking about getting the Linksys WRT54G.

I've got a Virgin media connection.

do they not provide you with one?
I got provided with a similar spec netgear but tbh I found it crap, poor signal and kept dropping signal too. So I bought myself an N series router (this is linksys) and its great, much better range of signal and hasnt dropped once. It'd depend how far away from your router your PC and/or other components are going to be, but Im not in a particuarly big house and just being upstairs from my old router caused problems.

Bought the wrt54 myself, works great... for a year. Then I have to buy another one. on my third now because im a sucker for punishment and admittedly i did drop the last one although only from a desk.
