what would be the worst way to go?

I think this is the worst way to go tbh, similar to marcus vivien foe.

bought tear to my eye

Watch at about 0:47 to 1:00 what the figgidy fack is the guy in the red top and the guy in the black coat doing? Either screaming or really happy that he is getting a chance to come on the pitch. Or of course he could be playing charades and trying to do a gorilla impression.

Not something nice to laugh at but them two blokes made me chuckle

A lot of 3rd world country villagers now prefer to set people on fire and watch them slowly burn to death.
I can't imagine what the victim goes through for those minutes they are still alive.

When this method of execution was applied with skill, the condemned's body would burn progressively in the following sequence: calves, thighs and hands, torso and forearms, breasts, upper chest, face; and then finally death. On other occasions, people died from suffocation with only their calves on fire. Several records report that victims took over 2 hours to die.

Tbh, one of the worst ways I can think of is drowning =/.

I was seconds away from death in Hurghada in April.
I was 200 yards in the opposite direction to everybody else and I'd taken a massive gulp of salt water and up into my nose.
I'd gone under several times and recovered and I really thought my time was up.
I then remembered that if I get on my back I can't drown (it's a skill I've always had).
I slowly recovered and got back to the boat but I can honestly say it would be nowhere near as bad as being burned alive for an hour.
I had 2nd degree burns in the South of France in 1979 and spent a couple of days in hospital so I can't imagine a slow burning death.

Surely most of the ways described so far are relatively quick. They would be horrible but would end within a few hours at most. The worst way would have to be some kind of degenerative disease that leave your mind in tact but takes several years to kills you through various parts of your body failing. You may be in constant pain and towards the end stuck in some hospital ward deprived of everything you love for the last few weeks/months of your life.

Most of these are fast deaths and so wouldn't be too bad. A bit of pain but then you will be dead so it doesn't matter.

Something like cancer tho, you have to go months or even years, knowing that you're slowly dying.

I'm always scared I might get it. Just hope a cure is found one day.

Drowning is supposed to be OK. My Mum knew someone who almost died drowning, he said after the initial panic is over and you take the first lungful of water it felt like he was drunk only better and he felt totally at peace. He was revivied and lived to tell the tale, obviously.

^^ i've heard this too

The way Elvis died is pretty bad.

Trying to crap so hard with such bad drug induced constipation that your heart simply gives up, and you died of a heart attack.
Days of waiting hoping to crap, and his previous trick of sitting in the hottub for a few hours to release one out into the warm waters failed.

Thats a slow nasty one, and all self-inflicted.
