So I could heat up microwave meals for everyone, with a tesco cheesecake for dessert. And they'd give me a 8-10 if they liked me, or a 5-7 if they didn't. The fact that they ate filthy processed rubbish, would barely matter at all.

have you ever seen someone win when they havent made an effort ? they always lose a point or two. its come dine with me , not come and eat my awesome expensive food with me

the scores are usually judged on the all round best dining experience which obviously requires a good host , if im with someone whos an ass im not going to have a good night

the only time i feel the scores are obviously unfair (because we cant taste the food through tv) is when someone thinks they can get win by just giving everyone else are low score
 
Starter: Packet of crisps
Main Course: Beans on toast
Desert: 10p Ice Pole
Drinks: Cans of lager in the fridge (if there's any left) other than that, tap water.
 
Trio of pâté : home made smoked salmon, bought in patchwork (cointreaux and orange), home made pork
duck breast with sautéed potatoes, green beans and a red wine and cherry jus
Trio of cheesecakes : chocolate, lemon and lime, blueberry

I like trios..

My veg starter would be a carrot and cumin risotto (served with Parmesan, in the hope that the veggie is ignorant :p ) no idea about main...
 
I'd probably spend ages planning a menu and putting loads of time and effort into the preparation.. only for it to be shot down by clueless freaks :D

So with that in mind, gruel avec booze.
 
Scallop and pancetta with some salad leaves

Either butternut squash risotto served with venison steak or roast pork belly and dauphinoise with assorted veg

Warm chocolate brownie with ice cream

Cheese plate

Champagne
Either a Pugligny Montrachet or a Cru Classe Claret of sorts
A quality Sauternes
Port should those requiring it wish
 
Seared Scallops upon Celeriac Purée, topped with Black Olive Tapenade,
Mocha Steak, Chive Mash with a Oyster Mushroom Sauce and Asparagus,
Green Tea and Vanilla Panna Cotta.
