what would i gain from upgrading from these?

hey guys,

im running a FX8320 with a asus crosshair v formula-z and 2x4gb corsair xms3 1600mhz.

the main reason im changing my RAM is because it looks horrid!
i will be getting two sets of 2x4gb to fill up the RAM slots.

now what can getting 2400mhz over 1600mhz be worth the extra? would my overclock be more stable ?

i use my PC for gaming and thats it, so if it improves there as well i will do it!

There may be a few FPS difference if you upgrade but imo a pointless one.

I've never seen any performance improvement by using faster RAM. 1600 is plenty.
