What would you do if you found THIS in your Kids Drink?

Well, picture this;

Sat at the table, eating tea at my Mums. My young brother likes these bottled drinks, with the sports caps on, so he can take one out to play or have with him on the garden etc, and always has one with his tea.

This day, he chooses a glass of water, so i grab one of his drinks, as i just fancied a nice cold Vimto out of the fridge...

I took a good drink, and thought "What the HELL is this" i tasted awful - like someone had put disinfectant into it, i was also greeted afterwards by a BAD, strong smell... then a REAL burning sensation in my throat...

I screwed the cap off the bottle (Checking the seal was intact first) and i could see something inside... Couldn't quite work out what it was, and i even thought to begin with that it was one of those Kids things, with bubble gum inside (LOL) To which i found out it wasn't.

So i poured it into a glass to find this...

It's like a soft, rubber thing, which looks like it has gone mouldy inside and done something real nasty to the drink... it HAS to have been from the production line / bottling factory, but no idea?

Any ideas who to contact and what to say?

Co-incidently, i was quite ill that night - stomach cramps and sickness, but no idea what to do about it.

Any help / advice would be appreciated.

Write to whoever makes Vimto, enclose the photos and you'll more than likely recieve a bit of compensation back.

Go to your doctor immediately, get this on record for a start.

Then contact the complaints dept at the drinks company.

This is QC gone bad.

looks like the rubber thing that goes in the lid.

send it to vimto and get hundreds of free drinks

Is there not a number on the bottle? Get in contact with them and tell them first, see what they say about it. If your not happy im sure there is other things that can be done

It looks like a mouldy condom in one of those photos.

It's not from the underside of the lid is it?

Checked the others, and there's no seal in the lids, as it's a sports Cap (pull up thingy)

Contact Vimto and complain my mum found some plastic in her salad at pizza hut and they gave us loads of voucher. It was over £100 i think. On the stomach pains id call your doctor but just a reminder that forum rules say that medical advice should not be given.
