Hi,

Before anyone says anything. I have tried letters, phone calls and constant emails to no avail.

It is also another company.

Well, I RMA'd a motherboard with them about 3 months ago. For the past two months I have been phoning and emails a couple of times a week.

When I phone, they put me on hold and hang up after about 5 minutes.
When I email, they do not reply. 50% of the time they do however, and tell me they are chasing the order up, every single time!

I have spoken to some people on the net outside of the company, and have directed me to other email addresses. I email them, and still, nothing happens.

I have enclosed plenty of infomation for them to get back to me.

I just do not know where to go from here, surely 3 months over the stated 1 month is just a crappy service.

What should I do? The item is worth about £80, so it is worth bothering about in my eyes.

Thanks a lot.

Write a formal letter and keep pursuing in that manner. If they keep ignoring you, pursue for a legal case. Make sure you send it via Recorded delivery.

Ok thats great :) Will do.

Should I write about anything apart from my problems?
E.G. I will press legal matters?
What can I actually do legally?

I'd personally also complain about the rubbish service that you've recieved and how you've been neglected and so forth.

also ask them if they have an ombudsman service you can appeal to if they cannot help you. threaten legal action, if you like consumersdirect should be able to point you in the right direction too - they helped me out once.

seems you had the same problem that i had, only, i never got my psu back.

This is why i instantly say 'ocuk' when someone thinks about buying pc parts.

Did you by any chance use a credit card for payment.

OcUK I heard when the shop first opened didn't have the strongest rep for customer service (please don't ban me, <3 OcUK I buy all my parts from here *disclaimer*) but yeah defo, the past 3 years I've bought all my kit from them and there's plenty of quick, helpful support whenever needed. Prices are now very very competitive also.

Send a letter via Recorded / Special delivery so you can confirm receipt of it, so if it ever goes to court or anything you have proof you tried to contact them.
