This is another issue, Im not getting redundancy pay. The company I work for have 2 different companies but the same business.
We all work side by side and when I worked for *Employer 1*, they were telling me that the job I want is looking for people but I'd need to change my contract over to *Employer 2*, therefore I started a new contract 6 months ago so sadly, no redundency pay for me

No - that comes under continuation of employment regulations - you SHOULD get redundancy pay as if you had worked for one company from the start

Out of curiosity, which company is this exactly? If you don't want to give it away completely does the name or managing company begin with a "C"?

No it doesn't begin with a "C" and it's The TechGuys who I work for, who are technically Dixons.
