Pretty pathetic thread but its really got under my skin!

Ill keep it short!

One of my girlfriends friends borrowed some of my GFs clothes 8 months ago (Including an expensive Abercrombie and Fitch hoodie my GFs ex-boyfriend got her from LA when he went, so irreplacable really).

My GFs been asking for em back since she borrowed them and has always wriggled out of it, and we've seen her wearing them recently.

The friend in question and my GF fell out over this last week and the friend said she would give them to another one of my GFs friend before she goes to uni (which we think is today), but of course the other friend hasnt heard anything about it.

So we're pretty sure shes going to dissapear with them :(

What can we do, surely this is basically theft, can we threaten court action (Obviously not going to, just to scare her a bit, plus the GFs dad is a copper so we can use some fancy language ;))

Planning to do some snooping and find out her uni address and turn up there in the near future which im sure will do it :)

But yeah, anyway rant over, any opinions on what we can do?

I fully accept nuke from orbit, rape, kill family etc ;)

If you know where she / her family live, go round there and ask for them back. Better if you can tell her parents perhaps?

im not sure what you can do really, isnt it goign to be a bit of a fuss though?
without sounding rude, why dont you and your GF just let it go and just avoid the thieving get from now on?
i know its a pita losing stuff to so called friends as ive had same problems in the past. just avoid them and they soon get a rep and others avoid them too, the guy who did it to me and a few otehrs when we were younger doesnt even get let in most of our homes now lol :p

As your GF's dad is a copper he could probably inappropriately use his 'power' to recover them for you. Perhaps he could fit 'er up for a couple of capers while he's at it. May be plant some narcotics on her for good measure.

create a facebook status ''xyz is a thief, she borrows clothes as she obviously can't afford her own and then doesn't give them back but struts around in them as if they were hers''

Rule #36 of being a man:

Never get involved in your girlfriend's girl-related gossip and squabbles. Just nod and say 'that's nice dear' and continue watching the TV/playing mw2.

Forget it, life's too short to be worrying about things like this. Lesson learned; never give anything to your friends, you'll probably never see it again (if they are an idiot).

"Oh, sorry to grope you like that, it's just in those clothes you look just like my girlfriend, and she likes it when I dress up like a rapist and jump out at her."

PK!

That's one way of earning a jail sentence I suppose.
