I'm probably going to do both thinking about it, 290cf for now. Then when a 3770k pops up buy it then sell my 3570k, the cost won't be much added on.

Then 1440p the following month I think.

I would as well if I didn't mind the noise, as the OP has stated he doesn't. No brainer really as nothing else will touch the performance for that money.

One card ain't going to cut it when you move to 1440P deffy, you'll want a minimum of two. Three if you want to stay above 60 at all times at the highest quality settings.

Attempting to sell my DELL monitor, if I do, I'll then buy another 290, plus a 1440p monitor.
