got some spare cash, im currently running an i5 2500k, and i have the upgrade itch, been lookin at 2600k and 2700k, is it a worthwhile upgrade? any noticeable gains in performance? i wanna stay away from ivybridge due to poor temps

hmm...might be worth puttin one of my cards in my media rig, sell one and buy a nice single card that will do all 3 screens, time to post in the gfx section! lol

R9 290X might do the job and the prices are pretty good at the moment too ;). You could even wait a little longer and see what the R9 380X is like.
