What a horrible mess.

Just make sure you push them to make sure not only that the situation is rectified and that your credit file it put right, but also that you are financially put back in the position you would have been in had it not happened, i.e. all your costs covered. You shouldn't have to be out of pocket because of it.

Saw carphone warehouse and stopped reading. They're a bunch of absolute incompetent buffoons.

DITTO....I did the exact same thing

Had problems with them only last week. Ordered a £600 phone which was on a two week back order. Week later changed my mind and tried to get a refund. Nope!!! Took two phone calls to head office and an in-store argument to get my money back.
