Was driving home on Sunday through Milton Keynes near the hub. Dual carriageway with 4 lanes of traffic separated by a central reservation with grass on it.

Was in the outside lane when out of the corner of my eye I saw a car seemingly reversing over the central reservation I swerved and he must have missed me by about a meter.

I think he must have lost control and skidded and somehow ended up going over the central reservation backwards. His car seemed damaged as there was bits of trim over the other side of the road.

I pulled over and the guy seemed to be in genuine shock, car seemed to be a high powered asian saloon (i forget the name) Nissan Skyline maybe. So I gave him a piece of my mind calling him a stupid ****** and went on my merry way.

People at work seemed to think I should have called the police.

what would you have done ?

stupid question

call the police.

There was no need to call him a stupid ****

It might not have been his fault, how do you know?

I certainly wouldn't have verbally abused the driver who would have been in shock following a traumatic experience.

So I gave him a piece of my mind calling him a stupid ****** and went on my merry way.

How do you know he wasn't nudged into a spin by some other unobservant clown, after all, you yourself admitted you only caught the end of his accident out the corner of your eye.

So why automatically assume the worst & give him grief when you didn't know all the facts?.

I wouldn't have been a judgemental asshat, checked he was ok and moved on, ensuring that any future posts I were to make about the non-incident at least appeared in the correct forum.

So someone has an accident, which you didn't see at all, and your first reaction is to stop, hurl abuse at the person when he is quite clearly shocked and traumatised after the event which most people would find pretty scary, and then you post here as if we're supposed to pat you on the back for being a shining example of an alpha keyboard cowboy? Quite honestly, you're what's wrong with the world today. No facts on the matter, just straight in there with the blame culture. Good one. I suppose if he'd have hit you or something then you'd be straight in there pressing charges despite you antagonising him.
