She clearly knew what she was doing, as she was checking all the tyres - It wasn't just that one tyre was 'flat'
If she was struggling or couldn’t get the thing to work – Then I would have a reason to approach and offer help maybe
But me automatically thinking she’s a woman and doesn’t know how to pump up tyres or use a little air compressor would be the wrong assumption? (I think)
The last part is probably why more men don't help in loads of situations now, I know I'm more hesitant.
My neighbour, an elderly woman, I noticed the bonnet in her car was open. So I went to knock on her door, just incase she wasn't aware or just needed help. But damn I was anxious about the potential out cry from it, where as when I was a kid I would've been scolded for not helping.
No dear, mansplaining is when a man explains something to a woman like she is a toddler because obviously she can't know anything about anything unless it's about cleaning or making sammiches.

To be fair, if ones first thought about helping someone is to immediately go onto a computer nerd forum and ask people opinions, whilst at the same time knowing you’ll get slaughtered for it, then maybe somewhere there is a sandwich short of a filling.
A perfunctory glance at her handiwork, a smart pat on her bum and an exiting quip of "NICE ACTION" is all it took. Can't believe you fumbled this open goal my dude.
