What would you like to do for a living?

Mechanical/Electrical engineer, designing big stuff like industrial motors or engines. Something where I can not only design the stuff and do the maths, but be able to see the fruits of my labour in a finished product.

Probably wouldn't pay that well considering I'd have masters, but I'd really enjoy it.

edit: failing that I think a crane operator would be a fantastic job. There was a forum member once who posted some pictures of some spectacular views he got from his crane cab.

Crime Scene Investigator, ive got an internal job interview on Thursday and if I get that then CSI could be the next job on my ladder after a year or so. :D

if i could choose to do anything at all id be a professional gamer, earning a living from playig CSS or something......but that'll never happen :p

realisticly i want to be a Network consultant/analyst of some sort, a lot more learning to do until i get that far though

Being serious:

Structural Engineer, however I failed my maths A-Level many years ago and got into IT so I am planning on becoming a Service/Process Manager or something similar.

sniper - the ultimate war machine tbh
Sorry to burst your bubble a bit, but a sniper isn't a "war machine", they're used for recon so rarely actually see much action. And if sitting in a hole for weeks at a time crapping into a bag is your thing, then that's cool :p I'm not making it up, I know a few people in the forces.

Myself, I wouldn't mind being a bobby, but realistically I think my current route into Software Engineering is my best option :)
