Heres a future build im thinking about buying sometime this or next week, I kind of chose the psu at random. Ram I wasnt sure about but it seemed like the best set there with the tighter timings. I will be overclocking the sandybridge...

Is the case "all that" I was looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-012-FD as it could take 10 hds but I wasnt keen on the door at the front and I havent really heard anything about this company. (yes i know im quite behind :P)

Anything I should swap out or wait for in your opinions?

whats the PC gonna be used for?

if its mostly gaming, then i would suggest cutting the RAM back to 4GB, and going with an i5 sandybridge.

(however, your mention of 10 HDD's makes me think it isnt)

My fractal is extremely well built and its such a dream to work with, so quiet, so clean looking, did i mention quiet :P, all of the sound proofing makes it kinda heavy though ( 30kg :O) i wouldnt recommend if you move your pc about lots. :)

Love it.

Ideally this will last me around 3 years. Or about as long as my C2d which I bought near enough release and Im currently still using.

Pc is for gaming really. I know all the i7 adds is HT which adds zero difference to gaming, but will that be true for the future? Or will HT never matter?

If I do do any video encoding etc at least the feature is there.

I'm very tempted by the fractal case, but like I said I think the door would get on my nerves :P
How does the air flow work with the door closed too? Is there some gap at the bottom or?
