Hi guys, just created a thread for people to discuss their Antec Kuhlers, have fun, post temps and generally just enjoy this amazing but of kit! :)

Mine came through the post today, installed it without a hitch.

Keeps my ATM stock i7 860 at 18-20 degrees. At idle. Awesome eh? :)

i get mine tomorrow (got the last one)

will try to install it this week but if not it will be next tuesday.

will post temps up of my corsair a-70 and the antec.

Mine was delivered today - still sitting in the box. Will be put to work over the weekend.

Bargain at the price when compared to the other options out there.

anyone know if antec is a german company? IIRC it's supposed to be american. I mean, they named the product with the german word kühler...
Unless they just did it for the fun of it lol

from their website, so I think they are just trying to be witty/clever/dynamic with the name of this.

Am interested in these - would be good to see how they compare with the Corsairs and other air coolers in the real world.

How is it for noise?

Also - how do they mount? Is it push/pull, exhausting through the back of the case, or pulling air into the case (how the Corsairs are recommended to be run)?

Cheers,

Rich

(Asetek is the OEM that does the H** from Corsair and the Kuhler)

Look at the right hand side box - notice the Kuhler is virtually identical to the H50. I'd expect them to be the same.

Would there be any problem with changing the fan / fans on this cooler as it has the fan lead coming from the pump for the included fan? What about if you add another fan wouldnt you want both fans controlled from the same header on the mobo rather than a 3pin connector from the pump.

The fan is controlled by the pump, not via pwm. It speeds up as the water heats up

As for those claiming it's the same as the h50, BMR actually showed it to be better than the H70 ;) I need to reapply TIM on mine though, as one core is 13 degrees higher

We're most certainly US based. I'm happy to see this thread pop up. If you guys have any questions, I'm happy to help.

very nice to see a antec rep in here.

welcome :)

were looking forward to this cpu cooler and hope it lives up to its reviews which im sure it will do.

Oh, and @Antec Jessie, is there an optimal configuration for the rad/fan setup? I have it in push/pull using both the original fan and the Phantom exhaust fan, with the original pulling. I also have the radiator mounted so the hoses are to the left hand side of the case as you look forward at it. Is there any better setup?

Thanks :)

Thats what i said in my post was asking if there would be problems not using the fan connector from the pump if you want to change the fans and use the new fans on a pwm header and not use the included fan cable from the pump.
