What would you upgrade first ?

I was gonna go 2nd hand tbh.
Just looking at the member's market a 2070 super just went for £190 which us about s 35% performance boost.

Your 1660 ti is worth £150 + That gives you a new 6700 if you add the £200 but used you will get a 2080ti.

At least you have some comparison whichever you decide.

Hello,

My son has my old out dated PC, and i'm thinking of slowly upgrading it for him

What would be best to upgrade first ?

His system is the following:

Intel Core i5-6400 2.70GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor
Gigabyte H110M-S2H Intel H110 (Socket 1151) DDR4 Micro ATX Motherboard
Powercolor Radeon R9 380 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
16GB DDR Ram - Can't remember exactly what make.
Crucial BX200 240GB SSD SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive - OS Only

Looking to do it as cheap as possible.

Thanks
The best place to start would be to upgrade the graphics card. A more powerful graphics card will give your son a better gaming experience and will also help with other tasks such as video editing and 3D rendering. You could also consider upgrading the RAM to 32GB, as this will help with multitasking and running more intensive applications. Finally, you could consider upgrading the processor to a more powerful model, such as an Intel Core i7-7700K. This will give your son a significant performance boost.
