last saturday night in newquay, i pulled someone up off the floor as the other bloke he was fighting was kicking him. i wouldn't usually have done it but i would have felt bad if i had done nothing. the bloke said 'what do you care' i said i don't, i just don't want to see anyone get their head kicked in when they can't defend themself.

Yes.

Brawlers never pick on the band and it gives the other people in the pub something else to look at.
If you stop then all the pub might join in.
Only once in 41 years I've stopped because a couple of people spilled onto the stage.

If it's two people fighting each other I'll leave them to it. If it's a bunch of people being aggressive towards an individual or considerably smaller group, then I put my bat cape on.
