What you guys think of this case....

What case do you have at the moment?

Depending on what you are running just changing case alone may not make much difference. It could be your current fan configuration or just your PC is a hot runner.

Number one thing to remember, if it is stable and not throttling then the PC is fine. Your 3700+ is ok to run at 65deg+ without damage for 12 years, thats what AMD say, as long as it is stable I would not worry and save the money.

If your having to knock back your overclocks from in the winter, then maybe you do need more cooling; but as long as it is stable and not throttling then AMD and the component manufacturers say it is fine at those temperatures.

Just be careful not to get caught up in the low temperature trap, yes it is nice but a PC is fine in the 60deg case temp region.

Just depends if you also want a new case, or if your trying tog et your rig stable again.

currently my CPU is idling @ 30 but Case is 37 PWU is 48....

So you have low temperatures, asuming your on air and NOTHING to worry about.

Add 30 to them and yes, you would have to then worry, but that low in this heat is good!

Cant get anymore case fans in - ambiet is like 38 at the moment :(
You've got the best temeratures i've seen on this forum on a non phaze system that people have posted at this time of year. People are posting temps of even 33c idle on water systems. So why change case? You obviously have some super cooling already.

Take into acount the +/- 5 on the readings and it is possible.

Never known a mobo to be acurate at reporting temperatures when you challenge them, just a guideline.

But it does fit when you put the margin above to it.

It's a lot of money for Thermaltake kit. The Alphacool 12V Stacker (Black) is £265 and that is a Coolermaster Stacker case with a Triple 360x120mm RAD box and I would suspect it will run significantly cooler than the Thermaltake.

I have the Koolance PC3-725 and it has a 240x120mm RAD in the roof of a Lian-Li V1000B case and, OK it was almost £400, but it's on a different planet to the Thermaltake in terms of cooling and build quality.

If you search for "Ready2Go" there are loads of nice cases all pre-modded to water cooling that are better, in my opinion, than the Thermaltake.
