What your sound system setup?

Fairly basic really...

Speakers at home are a fairly simple Antec Lansing 2.1 system, and at uni is a 5.1 Advent system that I managed to get on the cheap.

However as I get complaints in both about sound volumes I recently invested in a 'entry level' headphone set up I guess xD

FiiO e5
Goldring Ns1000's

JVC AX-R551 stereo amp driving a pair of genEXXA pro x7's and and pair of senn hd650's.

Pretty basic setup here.

Asus xonar DX
Goldring ns1000's
Creative i-trigue 3330 2.1 speakers.

Hoping to change the speakers as the creatives are rubbish.

Very nice speakers. Get a nice amp and probably a decent sound card too, if you are using on-board audio ATM, and you'll be sorted. :)

at the moment its very simple not even a amp as its not really need

Xonar DX - SS sibera V2 or Goldring NS1000s ( with ANR on)
xonar DX- logitech X530

I m looking to chop the logitech for edifier R1600Ts as they seem to be what I m looking for, and I have no room for the AV/Amp etc

Can you or anyone recommend one bellow £200

I'd get a 2nd hand one TBH. For about £100, you could get a really nice one, that would have cost considerably more when new. If you are looking for a new one, then you could get either an Onkyo or Pioneer for around £150. Cambridge Audio AM1 for £80, or an AM5 for £120.

Damn, all these people with awesome speakers... makes me jealous :(

Currently I'm still using my criminally old Cambridge Soundworks DTT3500's. Very directional but low range per speaker and too much emphasis on a massive subwoofer. Did have an Audigy 2 Platinum card to run them off but it sadly crapped out on me not too long ago, so I'm stuck with onboard sound until I can afford a new Asus Xonar.

Oh, the woes of an upgrade priority list :(
