Whats a non returnable bottle?

Ah yeah, that was it. I questioned that myself when I was there. Couldn't imagine such divisions happening over here.

As usual, Irn Bru has the answer. As mentioned above, 750ml Glass bottles of Irn Bru and other Barr beverages can be returned for 20p in cash. /o/
