Could some one tell what these mods doo?

is it worth doing it over the origional?

Well, it's a rather dark area, and probably can't go into it in very much detail without Davey closing the thread.

Basically the original Xbox can be modified to have a large HDd, so you can then watch movies, listen to mp3s, play games off your HDD etc.

Mod talk is strictly forbidden but primarily it will allow you to use the Xbox as a Media Centre, many people say its superior to a PC with Windows MCE in terms of flexibility and networking.
