A bit of PTFE tape (not loads, one wrap will usually do) on the screw threads will seal it back up nicely whilst also making it 'fairly' easy to unscrew again in future.

It works a bit like thread lock, but less extreme....

In case you are wondering, PTFE stands for 'Plumbers Tape Fixes Everything'

Just kidding, it's shorthand for Polytetrafluoroethylene

I do a tablet of Harpic Power Plus overnight, and then a generous amount of Mr Muscle drain cleaner the second night. Comes up great
