What's better than having a V8-powered car on your driveway?

Nothing to do with me reading 'Don' under your username.

I've noticed it a lot lately, you go into threads and either fully or slyly have a go at members for posting things which are generally are nothing out of the norm. Members seem to be getting told off for things which are perfectly normal, and often things that other mods also post.
I must add though that it isn't just yourself, I've noticed it with other mods too although lately it is just yourself, most of the others have been sensible.

Anyway, this is off topic completely.

DRZ...seems like a brilliant car, will have to have a nosey around it at some point. :)

That's right. Mods get away with murder as members get banned for anything.

No, but he is kind of right. There really was no need to complain about someone posting up a "discuss my new car in a jokey manner thread when there is little if any difference to yourself posting up a "Who owns a 350/370z" thread.

If you really wanted to see them you could have trawled through the "show us your motors" thread, as by your logic anyone who wants to post up a photo of their car should do so in that thread? :confused:

If we ban simple/jokey/new car/etc threads, the forum would die a death of stagnation.
 
OT bickering aside, paradigm! You're the man with the knowledge when it comes to VAG stuff. Hook me up with all the information I need to obtain the right stuff and not buy the wrong thing please!

I was expecting a V10 M5, R8 or S600, I must say the thread has disappointed a little.

FWIW I find Naith's comments & posting style novel and amusing, I fail to see how people deem the mods harsh here,or, more to the point, why it's a reoccurring theme.

Happy you are happy :) but I feel at bit meh as I can't help thinking the S6 wasn't a very good 'V8'. Very much eclipsed by the RS6 - now that was a beast!
