Been looking for a point and shoot camera that’s not too big to lug around. The Mrs. moans about the size of the Fuji 5700 I’ve got now. Been everywhere, every one recommends something different. Boxing Day we got a Samsung L830 and frankly the quality of the photos was absolutely pants so I took it back. One of the high street retail outlets recommended the Sony DSC-H3 for £170 with a 2 Gig card included or a Nikon P50 for £150. That well known high street camera store recommended canons Ixus 75 but the sales person didn’t seem interested, and the feeling I got from him was that he didn’t want to be there either.
I would like something I have some control over exposure / aperture
Any recommendations, good experiences with others. Do I sod the wife and buy a D40. My dads got the D40 and I’m impressed with it.
