Just cooked roast chicken fillets with garlic, pepper, lime juice and about quarter of an onion cut chunky. They were foil wrapped and in the oven at 190 degrees for about 35 mins, I used the juices for the gravy.
Roast potatoes, sweet potatoes and parsnips, the potatoes and sweet potatoes were boiled for about 8 mins, drained and shaken in the pan to rough them up.
Whilst they're cooking pre-heat a roasting dish with oilve oil, removed from the oven and add a clove of garlic peeled and crushed along with the parsnips, potatoes and sweet potatoes turn all of them so they're coated in the hot oil, throw in another clove of garlic (rosemary if you have any too) and in the oven for 45 mins turned halfway through.
A simple leek and onion sauce, melt a chunk of butter in a pan, add a teaspoon or 2 of flour and stir until mixed, add some milk whilst stiring then chuck in the chopped leeks and onions, simmer for about 10 mins.
Peas, easy to cook!
Finally the gravy, Bisto chicken granules made with the chicken juices and the water from the peas.
NOM!!
Shame I only cook for one isn't it....
