What's going on with Folding@Home?

Well I have put my rig back up to 4Ghz no point folding @ 3.6 hopefully i can have one of those weeks where it all goes without a single problem or is that asking too much :)

Not if i can help it

i'll need to see if i can get this system upto warp ten.

Well it will be a close one I think, so far this week

Now is it me or are those two cores not SMP but uni-processor cores which are bloody annoying knew something would goes balls up :(

Gonna go browse the Folding forum for a answer.

Edit: Well this looks like it wont be fixed till later on today then :(
kasson wrote:We've tracked it down to a problem with some of the new AS logic introduced today. Hopefully we can fix it this afternoon; if not, we'll revert to the old code and then do another debugging session later.

So I'll just do these for a bit gives my CPU a break :p

Edit 2: Well those WU's just won't run and have now picked up proper one I can sleep in peace :D

Ah had one of those this morning. Thought the client had ballsed it up so I deleted the WU and queue, then got a proper SMP one.

Sorry f@h!

So anyone going to come up and help me up here? Guys? We are gonna get our butts kicked by Vietnam in a few weeks. :(

Ordering parts today

But I need to find somewhere to put my data from the server before I can do anything else. :(

Might ditch the on-board RAID until I can find a decent [cheap] NAS to back it up to.

Looks like its going to be another 2 weeks before I can get a gpu for this rig as I need to sort some cooling out, Carp case + stock cooling = toasty CPU

Would have been a bit better if measured up properly and hadnt order the CM Hyper 212 then stupidly cutting it up to make it fit.

Well it will be a close one I think, so far this week

thisweek.jpg

You jinxed me :(

Some time tuesday night my whole system went belly up
ive now got to take it all apart to solve the mystery
looks as if my new gtx280 i got a couple months back is also cooked
as it boots to windows and then artifacts

After a prolonged absence I have returned :D
Prepare for the team to be buoyed by my awesomeness, surpassed only by those better than me.

I just bought an i7 920 and associated motherboard and RAM goodness :(

Expect it to be up and running in about a week! :D

Well thats my case completly empty now and had a good clean out.
My mobo has been switched for the newer version i bought from the MM months ago.
and cpu located ready to be installed into the case tommorow.
Just need to open up my psu and give it a good clean out and re route my WC loop as the pump is being moved to botoom of my case.
Drives are getting moved about and i will finally i think cut the top ready for my other radiator.so like sirusb i probably wont be able to turn my system to the ON position for about another week.

Hopefully with the new mobo i might even get a stable OC out of my Phenom ii 940 after having it for over a year without success so far.

Is anyone noticing bad output for the current SMP A3 WUs?

My i7 is only chucking out 10.7K PPD atm! I have seen this push 18K before now on 60xx WUs.

Current WU is 6013 R0:C198:G76. I really hope this isn't a sign something is wrong with my computer! :p
