What's good for converting DIVX to DVD format?

Vso also make BlindWrite a great program back about 4-5 years ago when games were on cd and copy protection was just a challenge. :D

Surprised Vso haven't been bought out yet by one on the bigger players. even though they are French. ;)

I like TMPGENC
Ditto.
Pain in the rear to initially use, but past that and its a wonderfully powerful program.
Having said that though, i let Nero Recode do the work. :p

For me WINAVI is first and VSO ConvertXtoDVD second, especially if you want a simple menu.
The XBOX idea is the best though or some £30 play all device like my £30 DVD/DIVX player.

For speed you cannot beat WinAvi I don't think but VSO just about shades it in terms of quality.

Like a few have said. A DivX player would be even quicker, easier and the quality is usually excellent.

WinAvi has a demo available although, it leaves a watermark. Looks like VSO have a trial version too. try them both and judge for yourself ;)

ConvertXtoDVD all the way.

I was a big fan of Nerovision despite the few sync issues from time to time. Biggest reason for switching is that if your divx file has a AC3 5.1 soundtrack, Nerovision was downmixing it to AC3 2 Channel - pain in the backside.

ConvertXtoDVD is simpler to use, faster and the soundtrack doesn't get touched in the conversion (you can specify normailising etc if you want though).

No brainer because of this really.

WinAVI also imo sucks as the quality on all conversions, even at high quality mode lags well behind the competition.

I have used quite a few, WinAVI, DVD Santa etc, but have found TMPGEnc 3/4 xPress (and TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 but harder to use) to be the best. :)
