Durham I see. I pop into the city for a drink now and again and it also has the best tandoori take away in the world.

Which Tandoori would that be? I'll go check it out

Tandoori Centre on Framwellgate front street, next door to the Tap & Spile.

The Lamb tikka jalfrezi is the best I have had and there are not that many places that get jalfrezi right.

Some takeaways use the same base sauce then go from there but these lads cook from scratch. The longer wait is well worth it.

It is right up there on the Von Smallhausen Good Curry Guide.
