What's my MBP worth...

Just a simple question, what's it worth?

Bought July 2007, applecare till July 1010.
2.4ghz, 2gb, stock 160gb HDD, matte screen (no yellow problems or dead pixels). US keyboard layout (which I personally prefer).

Has this tiny dent, and the bottom of it has taken a dislike to my desk!
Tiger, iLife 06 (could put 08 on aswell).


if I do decide to sell, it'd be for a new MBP.....

I'd say around £1000-£1200 considering the damage.

Two ways of checking;

1) http://buy.ebay.co.uk/macbook-pro, click MacBook Pro and then view completed listings.

Yea thought of that, but wanted peoples opinions after seeing my previous thread about the tiny lil' dent (though I guess lots of eBay ones wouldn't be admitting any dents etc!)

Yup, thought of that too, but figured that all the mac peeps stay up here instead of venturing down there, so would get more accurate responses here...


Other question, I guess I'd be able to transfer the remaining AppleCare to the new owner?

Anyone know anything more about applecare transfers?
Also, should I include with it the original receipt? (or isn't that needed?, because I bought other stuff at the same time that I'm not selling).


Also, anywhere else other than here (MM) and eBay that'd be good? (Obviously want to avoid scammers!)
