Whats needed for SLI?

Have a 7800GT in my machine at the moment and wondering what id need (Besides another card) for SLI?

Im sure i have enough power (30a on 12v rail.)

Also i have an Arctic Cooling fan on my current and a DFI NF4 Ultra-D mobo, since the AC is a double slot one, will i be able to fit another card in there.

You'd need a motherboard that supports SLi and a decent PSU.

Actually, you'll need nothing, as your DFI ultra D IS SLi enabled, possibly an sli bridge if you have lost the one that came with the board...

plus you would need another 7800 GT, but they've been out of production for eons now, so will be as rare as rocky horse *****.

The Ultra D is not Sli compatiable as supplied however there are hacked drivers that allow you to use Sli. Don't know if there is a performance hit though.

You can pick up a second hand 7800GT on the bay for around £50. TBH it's really not worth it. I went from Sli'd 7800GT's on a 939 rig to my current rig and the single 8800GTS is absolutely miles faster.
