pump
rad
reservoir
cooling blocks
piping and coolant

is this all thats needed for a watercooling setup? can pick up parts relatively cheaply so may have a bash at it.
is a "swiftech mcp600" any good? and if it is good enough to cool a cpu and gpu?

Also are XSPC X20's any good for cpu's???

Thanks

Thermochill PA120.x, EK multioption series res, D-Tek FuZion

and for statistics sake, I curently use a PA120.2 with and EK res and a D-Tek FuZion block pumped by a DDC Ultra 18w (petra's tech mod top) to cool my 2.7Ghz Toledo 4400+ X2. Absolute MAXIMUM temp I ve seen after 7-8 hours Orthos priority 10 is 48C. (note that this is with 2 Yate loon fans you can hear only if you stick your head over the grills )

Your call from now on. But remember! WC is not simple like air, if you are willing to take the risk (if you are careless that is) then go pro, stay away from cheapos!

I'm gonna ask a question as its along the same lines. I'm getting the bits together to watercool my computer. I have a repack resevoir that fits in an optical bay, I've seen people use t-lines as well as a resevoir, is this the way to go? could I just use the resevoir? I guess this would be awkward to fill as you couldn't do it in situ. is this the reason why you have a t-line?

Main reasons are:
1. It's quieter i.e when the water hits the walls of the res it makes a small amount of noise.
2.A res takes a lot of room.
3. re-filling a t-line is eeasier if it's long or a hole is drilled in the case and mounted with a fill-piont.
4.I found getting rid of air easier using a tline than a res, although this could be because I had my res at the bottom of the case

Try bleed a DDC 18w + petras/alpha top with a T line.

For me personally, I need the extra coolant before my hungry pump. Even with the res air can not escape it. I had to semi clamp the tube to reduce the velocity
