What's Next for Frictional - Consoles!

You buy their games and don't play them?!?!

In my defense, I do buy them with the sincere intention of playing them. I have started Penumbra again recently and we'll see how it goes. Amnesia I managed about an hour before I just couldn't take it any more. If I get through the Penumbra series I may try it again.

But regardless of how that goes, yep, I will buy everything Frictional make. They're up there with Ice Pick Lodge on my "buy everything they release" list.

Studios can not continue to pump out advanced graphics with little return....attitudes have to change we either stop being graphics whores or accept that studios need to share the love to make a profit.

What needs to change is the consoles. The next generation of consoles need to be upgradeable in order to keep up with the ever-changing face of gaming. A huge amount of developers have expressed their frustration with having to develop for outdated hardware, so I hope Sony and Microsoft actually listen, and come up with some proprietry form of upgrading their machines (because they're never going to allow consumers to upgrade their own consoles).

Consoles are holding everyone back, that needs to change.
