What's OCUK's policy on returning overclocked CPU's?

If the chip failed due to other reasons, I guess you could return it under warranty. If the overclock caused it to fail, I don't think OcUK will honour the warranty.

Ofcourse with PTPP you can return the chip once even working

If it doesn't OC well, you can try the silicon lottery again for free.

Its the honest way of doing it.

What if I return a working chip?
Can they send it back to me saying "it's working, **** off."

Bottomline is: I've got a dud. It o/c's like a pig. I'm on custom loop with EK Supremacy EVO... and that pig of a 5960x does barely above 4.3GHz @ 1.33V.

I would fully star out the swear word first. But yes if it works, it is in spec. you are best selling it on and get another.

(or put 2.0V through it, you are an overclocker? Yes)

If you are caught overclocking the secretary will disavow all knowledge of your actions.

This heatsink will self destruct in five seconds.
