The first Mac app I bought, apart from design premium, that is.
Just trying it out now and it seems awesome. Hopefully get used to the auto code-completion thing. Used to typing everything out.
www.htmlcodetutorial.com i used that site for the basics
i mainly use normal windows notepad for coding, free and works just as well.

Then you might as well get notepad++, still free but does text highlighting, tabbed file loading etc.

Notepad is pretty much the worst editor you can use for programming/web development :/

It is completely devoid of any features which might make it remotely useful as a development environment. Examples:
- No auto-indentation
- No code folding
- No tabbed editing
- No syntax highlighting
- Does not recognise new line characters
- No macro support
- Cannot change encoding options
- Only remembers one action for undoing
Why use Notepad when you can use something like Notepad++ or vim?
