What's that Dungeon Siege type game but isn't Dungeon Siege?

I'm kinda thinking the game was from 2001/2002 if I can remember the graphics being fairly decent and the game just about managing to run on a Voodoo3 3000.

So third person, kinda like Golden Axe. Was very Assassin's Creed style but I can only remember exploring one giant castle.

Gah! I know the game you are on about. I can picture it in my head right now. I remember trying to play it but it being to jerky to play, I needed better graphics but couldnt afford it. If I remember, I shall post, but now its bugging me lol!

Sounds like severance blade of darkness. Four characters iirc, the knight started in the castle dungeon. Did heads and limbs go flying all the time?

Hang on, it's like Dungeon Siege which was third-person but not like Titan Quest and it's not third person? And it's also like Golden Axe, which is a side-scroller.

Are you CERTAIN you didn't dream it?

It does sound like Severance, which was actually third person.

Are you sure you know what third person means :p

I think he means a closer "over the shoulder" perspective, rather than the isometric third-person view of Titan Quest.

Mind you, Dungeon Siege used the same isometric view did it not? Perhaps he's confusing Deathtrap Dungeon with Dungeon Siege.

Amazing game, I used to play it all the time. If any game needs to be re-made it's this one, the combat system was awesome!

It was the shadows in the game that impressed the hell out of me. Amazing how many modern games still can't do them properly.
