So far Ive narrowed it down to 3 cards

1. Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB GDDR5 Toxic Edition PCI-Express Graphics Card Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB GDDR5 Toxic Edition

2. XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

3.Sparkle GeForce GTX 275 896MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card (Includes Batman: Arkham Asylum & 3D Discover Glasses) THIS IS OUT OF STOCK :)

Out of those 3 I'd suggest option2. (Based on manufacurer rep). I'd also favour an HD4890 over a factory OC'd 4870.

Well all the cheaper 4890's were sold out..

I bought a Palit GTX 275 after the sales guy on the phone at OC suggested/told me the 275GTX was better than the 4890? interesting to hear if this is the case... its sat here at work, and am thinking of a way how to smuggle it into the house ... LOL

This boards enormous... :)

I think it's slightly faster if you aggregate the results from every benchmark/resolution (eg. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Powercolor/HD_4890_PCS/28.html), but it goes back and forth depending on the game.
