Whats The Best Case...

Lian Li G70 or V2000. Or maybe the Thermaltake VD4000SWA LCS Kandalf which has built in watercooling.

Would a eVGA or BFG 680i motherboard fit...

It would fit in the Antec 900 and the cases that I have suggested.

go for the Antec 900, fits a GTX and has lots of fans including a 200mm one.

and only £70 too.
Depends what you're after in terms of quality. 900 will do the job fine (although it's not a full tower), but Lian Li are in a class of their own. V2000 would be a good one, or the A10 you've picked out would also do a great job. Just google reviews of these models and you'll see how great they are.

Don't get a stacker 830. The older 810 is a great case, but the 830 can suffer from certain quality issues. Also, if you are interested in the V2100, I would probably go with the Pc-201 instead as its basically the same case, but newer and better looking IMO.

OCuK use the Antec 900 for their top of the range 8800 SLI system.

So they obviously know what theyre doing.

The lian Li look the biz but the 900 has the exceptional fans, with room for expansion.

There was a thread with a 900 with dual 8800s here somewhere, it had some pictures in it.

The only niggle is that the PSU slots in the bottom, so you need to make sure your 24pin connector stretches. But the enermax galaxy series looks fine.

I have the Tagen 900W

A antec 900 may not be the best case with tagan (wires will be everywhere) pc-201 is a very nice case i must say

Loads of fans does not make a great case, the Antec 900 can not hold up to a G70 for cooling I know that much from comparative stats I have seen.

Depending on Christmas money I should get a 900 and then be able to comment better on them from my own experiences.

Just because OcUK use them does not mean they are 'the' best; 100% up to the job would be a better way to describe it. For £200 you want a high quality over engineered beast that just increases your enjoyment from the PC. :p

V series (101/201 as well) G70 or an old Stacker (not 830). :)

Take your pick out of them and pay the money, enjoy a great case that will last you for 10 years if you want it to. :)

I've got an 830 stacker, beautiful case. :D

What quality issues ?

The one we had vibrated itself to bits while it gently cooked the case contents due to a thoroughly inefficient and inadequate airflow. Lots of fans do not a good cooling case make.

For a case that sells in this price range it's just plain nasty in comparison to other cases at the price point.

lol you should see another forum there was avote or a ss tj09 or stacker 830 me and 3 other people voted for the tj09 23 others went for the the 830 becuase of its "great" cooling
the tj09 on among other cases have less fans than the 830 and cool better as its how useful thier used

Well, actually you can choose your case with that system.

They know how to maximise their profits and the way they're pushing the 900's I reckon they've got a huge amount of stock and they want to shift them.

The 900 is a tiny case. Look at the photographs of it with 2 8800's in it. It's full. If you want the fans at the front, you can only have 2 5.25" drives and if you want the 8800's then you can't have the HDD cooling fan. It's really too small for a full-on gaming system.

is the one with the 900 in it. Compare that to these pictures of a TJ-09 with a similar rig in it. The TJ-09 is a proper big case with plenty of room for expansion.

The real niggle is that this case is a masterpiece of marketing over substance. They have stuffed a gigantic fan in the top and made it all light up blue and rattled on about how important it is that your computer case has somewhere to put your loose change and your iPod. This is a tarted up stock steel case with a load of blue LED fans in it. The Akasa Eclipse doesn't have fans, you have to pick some good ones yourself. The Lian Li models come with nice, high airflow fans that they make very few claims for at all. You're paying for the aluminium and the build. The Silverstone case does what the Antec sets out to do - to be a great gaming case, but to do it properly they have to charge 3 times the price. That should tell you something about the Antec. Either it's the bargain of the century or a case that's been compromised down to a low price. I think it's the latter, personally.

If you like the looks of the 900, then fine, buy it, but we please aware that for very similar money you could have a REALLY nice case instead.
