whats the best graphics card for me?

yeah the X2 is not much better than the GTS/GTX, as if the games are not Crossfire supported, then as i said above, the X2 will run as a single 3870, and everyone knows, the GTS and GTX are much faster than the 3870. :)

Even when crossfire is working it doesnt always win, look at the results below and note the average and minimum., if the X2 was really was much faster then the GTX/GTS then results like this simplely would not exist, looking at these i'd take a GTX/GTS anyday and just clock the hell out of them. :)

wow so many different opinions here all have been interesting to read, so here how ive decided so far; to go for a gts card(single) till next generation of cards come out. oh and i would be using a big monitor(32inch) for gaming. at the moment im not quite convinced on ati over nvidia (yet) thats because i had come across many nvidia users than a couple of ati's (bt am open for convincing) and, whats the best brand of gts?

They're all pretty much similar, although the ASUS GTS seems to be the best for clocking. Mine runs perfectly fine at 750/2100 (stock being 650/1944)
