I should soon be replacing my desktop PC with a laptop, I currently only have 1TB of space which is over a couple of 250GB drives. I have been looking into buying two 1.5TB External NAS boxes and selling the hard drives with my PC.
Are NAS boxes fast and transfering files. My network is only 100MB, would I be better off buying the firewire versions. So which is faster USB, Firewire or NAS.
Also how much usable space would I actually get out of a 1.5TB formatted in NFTS.
