Following the thread about the little git who won all that ipod gear for being iTunes's one billionth customer, I was interested to see how common good luck is :confused:

I won a £200 mountain bike from a packet of cornflakes when I was 13......almost chucked the ticket away as I thought it was just another load of promotional carp

My brother who was 10 at the time started crying because he had chosen to have eggs instead

I won a fairly dubious holiday, and £100 off another one from virgin. I never took them though.

I remember also winning lots of free shots in Liverpool town centre via a voucher book system which I never got round to using. I've one a few £2 scratch cards (£3).

Um, I also found a £20 down Hardman Street in Liverpool.

My brother won a trip to Euro 2004 with Carlsberg to watch the England - Croatia game in Portugal. Got flown out there and put up for 3 days with food included, hospitality at the game (It was a corporate Carlsberg thingy, lots of other people there) and got constantly given free booze. He took my dad because I had an exam at the time

I've never won anything impressive though

As for me around christmas time last year MSN was doing this high noon thingy where you had to shoot smiley faces.... went live every friday noon-2pm all other time was pratice. Top 80 people got an pair of webcams i won twice it was Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX Plus so got 4 webcams worth around £40 each
